| Artificial Honey, Inverted Sugar Syrup |
 |
ARTIFICIAL HONEY is a product obtained in the process of hydrolysis of sucrose with the addition of starch syrup and honey aroma. Its light amber colour, sweet taste and aroma make it resemble natural honey. It is used in confectionery and bakery products, giving them mild sweetness, subtle aroma and golden colour. The product is available in a liquid or solid forms.
INVERTED SUGAR SYRUP is thick syrup of pale golden colour and sweet taste, easily soluble in water. Although its consistency differs from that of honey, it is used similarly to artificial honey in the confectionery and bakery industry.
- Sugar content for artificial honey and inverted sugar: not less than 79%.
- Artificial honey and inverted sugar syrup do not contain any artificial colourings.
USE:
- as an ingredient of ginger bread, nougat, biscuits, small cookies/biscuits and breadsticks.
